We thank Pastor Philip Henselin for leading us in worship today. Pastor Henselin serves for for the Synod Institutional Ministries and is a member at Immanuel Lutheran, in Johnson Creek.

DIVINE CALL

2 calls were placed for associate pastors on July 19. They were to Rev. Seth Georgson who is currently serving at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Saint Louis, MO and to Rev. Matthew Guse, who serves at Northdale Lutheran Church in Tampa, Florida. Please keep these men and their families in prayer as they begin the deliberation process. QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING —August 2

The quarterly meeting will be held next week right after the 10:30am service. Items on the agenda will be membership changes and other items. All are encouraged to attend.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Women’s Bible study continues to meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 for fellowship and then study at 7 at the Wonewoc campus. All ladies are welcome. Bring a friend!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

25 children attended last week’s Vacation Bible School. The kids had a blast learning some special Bible stories on their “Jungle Journey”. Thank you to all who helped in any way this last week, and a special thank you to Sophia Gander who put lots of time and hard work into making this year successful.

HELP NEEDED FOR THE HILLSBORO CHARITY TRACTOR PULL

The Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull is on Friday, August 14 and Saturday August 15 at the Hillsboro Fairgrounds. Our church is selling ice cream Friday and Saturday evening. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS for shifts to help in the food stands and selling concessions in the grandstand. There is a sign-up sheet in back or go to our church website to sign up. If you are working, you get a free pass into the grounds and get a chance to see the pulls too!

KIDS AND TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATION

Any interested parent or community member is invited to an informative presentation, on August 2 at Luther High in Onalaska on "How is technology impacting our children?" There is more information on a flyer in back of church
