Foundations of the Christian Faith | Adult Catechesis
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Foundations of the Christian Faith is the name of the course we use for adult pre-membership instruction, also known as a Bible Information Class. This class is an introduction to basic truths of the Christian faith. It is especially designed for those wishing to become members of our congregation or those who are simply curious about what God’s Word teaches. Since catechesis is a lifelong endeavor of growth in God’s Word, this course is also helpful for members of the congregation looking to review the catechism basics in a structured Bible Study setting.
The Foundations course consists of twelve lessons; generally one lesson is completed each time the class meets. All the materials needed for the class will be provided.
Classes are offered regularly based on interest. The class can be taken both individually and in a group setting. If you would like to begin the class, simply let one of our pastors know and we can find a class time that fits your schedule.
