GRADUATE REQUESTS

Our requests for a teacher graduate from MLC and a pastoral graduate from the Seminary were not able to be filled.  God’s plans are always for our good and His glory. We will be working in the coming weeks toward filling these calls, trusting in His perfect will for us.

ASCENSION WORSHIP—MAY 29

This year Ascension falls on May 29.  There will be an Ascension worship service this Thursday, held at the Hillsboro campus at 6:30pm.

CHANGE FOR LIFE

Again, this year, our congregation is participating in the Change for Life Program to support the ministry of New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers.  New Beginnings is a WELS based ministry that helps single mothers pave the way to self-sufficiency in a Christ-centered home.  Pick up a baby bottle, take it home and have everyone in your household fill it with their spare change.  On Father’s Day, return the filled bottle to church where the money collected will be sent to help the mothers and babies at New Beginnings.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR WONEWOC DAYS BREAKFAST!

Panther Parents is looking for a couple more families to help serve breakfast at this year's Wonewoc Days. The date is Saturday, June 14th at the Wonewoc Legion. We're looking for parents and kids to volunteer for one of the two shifts:

Shift 1: 7-9 am

Shift 2: 9-11 am

There is a Google Form on the Panther Parents Facebook page to sign up. 

MUSIC IN THE PARK—JULY 19

Music in the Park planning is underway, and Panther Parents are looking for some extra help with planning this July 19th event.  This year proceeds will help benefit the new ECC and senior center in Hillsboro. A sincere thank you to my church family for the cards and notes with all the well wishes and thank yous when I had the privilege of going on the Badger Honor Flight.  It was a memorable day and an honor for me to be able to do this.
