CALL ACCEPTED

Mr. Jeffrey Schultz has accepted the divine call to teach 5th and 6th grades. Please keep Mr. Schultz and family, in your prayers during this time of transitions and welcome him to our congregation and school.

CALL ACCEPTED

Elizabeth Eckert has accepted the divine call to teach 1st and 2nd grades.  We continue to keep Ms. Eckert in our prayers during this time of transition and look forward to welcoming her to our congregation and its school.

GRADUATE REQUEST

Our request for a graduate from MLC was not able to be filled.  We will be exploring contingency plans in the coming weeks and working to fill the Kindergarten position as the Lord’s plan unfolds.

EIGHTH GRADE GRADUATION

There will be a special service for our 8th grade graduates on May 22, beginning at 6:30pm.  Grades 3-8 will also be singing for that service.

ASCENSION WORSHIP—MAY 29

This year Ascension falls on May 29.  There will be an Ascension worship service on that Thursday, held at the Hillsboro campus at 6:30pm.

CHANGE FOR LIFE

Again, this year, our congregation is participating in the Change for Life Program to support the ministry of New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers.  New Beginnings is a WELS based ministry that helps single mothers pave the way to self-sufficiency in a Christ-centered home.  Pick up a baby bottle, take it home and have everyone in your household fill it with their spare change.  On Father’s Day, return the filled bottle to church where the money collected will be sent to help the mothers and babies at New Beginnings.

MUSIC IN THE PARK—JULY 19

Music in the Park planning is underway, and Panther Parents are looking for some extra help with planning this July 19th event.  This year proceeds will help benefit the new ECC and senior center in Hillsboro.
