DIVINE CALL
Sunday, September 14th, the voters of St. Paul Lutheran Church extended two calls for associate pastors. Pastor Daniel Waldschmidt currently serves as a professor of foreign languages at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. His email is waldscdw@mlc-wels.edu. Pastor Brett Nauman is currently serving at Trinity Lutheran church and School in Keil Wisconsin. His email is brnaumann@trinitykiel.com. Please keep these men and their families in prayer as they consider both the calls they currently hold and the ones they have received from St. Paul’s. Feel free to reach out to them with any encouragement and information.
VOTERS MEETING—SEPTEMBER 27
An important special congregational meeting will be held on September 27, right after the 10:30am service in Wonewoc concerning the future of our Early Childhood Center.
WOMENS’ BIBLE STUDY
The ladies’ Bible study group will be meeting on Wednesdays, beginning at 7:00pm, and Fridays, staring at 9:00am, at the Wonewoc Campus. It will be the same study but 2 different options to attend. This session, they will be studying In God’s Orchard: Cultivating the Fruit of a Spirit-filled Life. The book will be available at the class for the cost of $17. Feel free to come a half hour early for fellowship and bring a friend.
BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
A new Bible Information Class, “Bible Basics” will be starting up on September 22. It begins at 6:30pm at the Wonewoc Campus. If you would like more information, call the office at 608-464-3212 or contact Pastor Wilke by emailing revwilke@gmail.com. Drop ins are welcome!
ADULT CHOIR BEGINS
Come lift your voice with us! We warmly invite everyone high school-age and older to join our Senior Choir as we make a joyful noise to the Lord. Whether you're an experienced singer or just love to praise God through song, there is a place for you in our circle. We will gather every Sunday evening starting September 27th at 6:30 PM at the Wonewoc Campus for a quick, fulfilling 30-minute rehearsal. We can't wait to sing alongside you—see you there!
YOUTH CONFIRMATION CLASSES
Due to our current vacancy, the plan is to combine public school confirmation classes with kids at St. Paul’s in Mauston on Wednesday evenings at 6pm starting on September 23. The address is 517 Grayside Ave. If you really want your children to attend, but getting them to Mauston is an issue, please let Pastor Wilke or Pastor Waldschmidt know by calling the Mauston church office at 608-847-4108.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION INVITATION
You are cordially invited to a celebration for Caroline Apker’s 90th birthday on September 26, 2026. The party will be held at the Wonewoc American Legion from 1:00—5:00pm. Caroline has requested no gifts please.
