CALL MEETING—SEPTEMBER 13
A congregational meeting has been set for September 13th at the Wonewoc Campus, following the 10:30am service. At this meeting, voters will extend a call for a pastor. Discussions will also be held concerning the future of our Early Childhood Center. Please attend if you are able.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
The men’s Bible study will meet on September 9, at 6:30pm at the Early Childhood Center in Hillsboro. They are grilling brats and burgers, so come hungry.
WOMENS’ BIBLE STUDY
The ladies’ Bible study group will be meeting on Wednesdays, beginning September 16, at 7:00pm, and Fridays, beginning September18, at the Wonewoc Campus. It will be the same study as Wednesday, just another option if Wednesdays don’t work for you. This session, they will be studying In God’s Orchard: Cultivating the Fruit of a Spirit-filled Life. The book will be available at the class for the cost of $17. This women’s Bible study covers each fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22,23. Each of the nine Bible lessons features application and discussion questions with room to write down thoughts.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
On September 13, we will begin a study titled “Living My Life as a Christian.” This course addresses a wide variety of Christian living topics that new and seasoned believers often struggle to apply to their lives, from maintaining a regular prayer habit to managing God’s gifts wisely.
BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
A new Bible Information Class, “Bible Basics” will be starting up on September 22. It begins at 6:30pm at the Wonewoc Campus. Do you need childcare? Let us know ahead and we can provide that. Call the office at 608-464-3212 or contact Pastor Wilke by emailing revwilke@gmail.com.
ADULT CHOIR BEGINS
Come lift your voice with us! We warmly invite everyone high school-age and older to join our Senior Choir as we make a joyful noise to the Lord. Whether you're an experienced singer or just love to praise God through song, there is a place for you in our circle. We will gather every Sunday evening starting September 27th at 6:30 PM for a quick, fulfilling 30-minute rehearsal. As Scripture reminds us in Psalm 104:33, "I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being." We can't wait to sing alongside you—see you there!
