DIVINE CALL RETURNED
Pastor Mathew Guse has returned the call to serve here at St. Paul. We thank him for his deliberation and pray for him and his ministry at Northdale Lutheran. A new call meeting has been set for September 13th at the Wonewoc Campus, following the 10:30am service.

He is currently serving at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Saint Louis, MO Please keep him and his family in prayer as he continues to deliberate where he may best serve. SCHOOL NEWS
The school supply list, yearly calendar, and singing schedules are on the school website page under Forms and Resources. School Open House will be Wednesday, August 26, from 6-7pm for dropping off stuff and checking out the classrooms. We still have some free school supplies if anyone needs them
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
The men’s Bible study is starting again. They will meet on September 9, at 6:30pm at the Early Childhood Center in Hillsboro. They are grilling brats and burgers, so come hungry.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
On September 13, we will begin a study titled “Living My Life as a Christian.” This course addresses a wide variety of Christian living topics that new and seasoned believers often struggle to apply to their lives, from maintaining a regular prayer habit to managing God’s gifts wisely.
BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
A new Bible Information Class, “Bible Basics” will be starting up on September 22. More information can be found in back. Any teen or adult that would be interested in possibly helping with some childcare while parents attend classes, please let Jan Fick know. We will see what the need for it is as the class gets closer.
FREE TO A GOOD HOME!
Lots of fall cleaning and clearing has been done in the basement at Wonewoc and there are several tables of “treasures” free for the taking if anyone would like them. Go have a look! Maybe you will find something that is yours.
WIDOW'S SUPPORT GROUP
Join us on the second Tuesday of every month at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mauston. (517 Grayside Ave.) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for conversation, companionship, and refreshments. There is no cost to attend. Please feel free to invite other widows who may benefit from connection and support.
