Thank you to Aaron Neyhart for being here to share the Gospel message today. Aaron is currently attending Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and is the son of Pastor Steve (Kathy) Neyhart who serves at Faith Lutheran in Reedsburg.

SCHOOL NEWS

The school supply list, yearly calendar, and singing schedules are on the school website page under Forms and Resources. School Open House will be Wednesday, August 26, from 6-7pm for dropping off stuff and checking out the classrooms. We still have some free school supplies if anyone needs them

DIVINE CALL

2 calls were placed for associate pastors on July 19. They were to Rev. Seth Georgson who is currently serving at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Saint Louis, MO and to Rev. Matthew Guse, who serves at Northdale Lutheran Church in Tampa, Florida. Please keep these men and their families in prayer as they begin the deliberation process. ADULT BIBLE STUDY

We are continuing Sunday Bible Study with “19 Minutes with Luther through the rest of the summer and into the first week of September. Then on September 13, we will begin a study titled “Politics is Driving Me Crazy!” In this four-lesson Bible study, Pastor Charles Degner offers a note of calm and a return to sanity as he leads us to listen to God, who rules over all things. Students will understand and appreciate the separation of church and state and how we as Christians can best serve our fellow people.

WIDOW'S SUPPORT GROUP

Join us on the second Tuesday of every month at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mauston. (517 Grayside Ave.) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for conversation, companionship, and refreshments. There is no cost to attend. Please feel free to invite other widows who may benefit from connection and support.

BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS

A new Bible Information Class, “Bible Basics” will be starting up on September 23. More information can be found in back. Any teen or adult that would be interested in possibly helping with some childcare while parents attend classes, please let Jan Fick know. We will see what the need for it is as the class gets closer.
