CALL MEETING—JULY 19
The voters have approved calling two pastors for our congregation and a call meeting is set for Sunday, July 19, right after the 10:30am service in Wonewoc. Also at that meeting, we will formalize the call for ECC director, Mary Ellen Lawson and extend a provisional call to Amy Gernetzke to teach Pre-K, Kindergarten and math.
MONDAY NIGHT WORSHIP
With St. Paul’s being served by a vacancy pastor as we begin the calling process, there will no longer be a Monday evening worship service for the time being. The last Monday evening worship will be July 13 (tomorrow).
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Women’s Bible study continues to meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 for fellowship and then study at 7 at the Wonewoc campus. The topic for the next 4 weeks is: Time: It’s a Gift - A Look at Time, God’s Time, Our Time, and Yes and No.
25 YEARS IN THE MINISTRY—PASTOR CHIP WILKE—JULY 12
Please join the congregation at St. Paul's, Mauston today, July 12th as they give thanks to God for Pastor Chip Wilke's 25 years in the gospel ministry. The service will be at 4 pm with a meal and fellowship to follow. St. Paul's is located at 517 Grayside Ave, Mauston. All are invited.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Mark your calendars. Vacation Bible School is being held July 20—24 at the Wonewoc Campus. The theme this year is Jungle Journey and the time will be from 6—7:30pm. This is for pre-school age though grade 6. There is a sign up sheet in back or use the QR code on the informational poster to take you directly to an online registration on our website.
HELP NEEDED FOR THE HILLSBORO CHARITY TRACTOR PULL
The Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull is on Friday, August 14 and Saturday August 15 at the Hillsboro Fairgrounds. Our church is selling ice cream Friday and Saturday evening. Set up and tear down will be taken care of, but WE NEED VOLUNTEERS for shifts to help in the food stands and selling concessions in the grandstand. There is a sign-up sheet in back or go to our church website to sign up. If you are working, you get a free pass into the grounds and get a chance to see the pulls too!
CHANGE FOR LIFE
$4.011.42 was collected for the baby bottle Change for Life Program. The Change for Life Program supports the ministry of New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers, a WELS based ministry that helps single mothers pave the way to self-sufficiency in a Christ-centered home.
KIDS AND TECHNOLOGY PRESENTAION
Any interested parent or community member is invited to an informative presentation, on August 2 at Luther High in Onalaska on "How is technology impacting our children?" More information can be found on the insert in your bulletin today.
