FAREWELL POTLUCK‍ ‍

Today after the 10:30 service in Wonewoc, join us to say farewell and Godspeed to the Limpert and Kupsky families. Pastor and Jessica will be beginning a new ministry in Two Rivers, WI. (His last Sunday here is July 12). Annalies and Justus Kupsky are moving to Brillion, WI where she has been called to be the 4-K teacher and preschool director at Trinity Lutheran School. We will have a card box there for both families, so that those who wish can share a private note with them. ‍ ‍

PRE-CALL MEETING INFORMATION‍ ‍

The voters met this last Wednesday. Pastor Chip Wilke was called to serve as our vacancy pastor. District President Jensen presented some information on models of what ministry might look like in our area going forward. The voters approved calling two pastors for our congregation and a call meeting was set for Sunday, July 19, right after the 10:30am service in Wonewoc. Also at that meeting, we will formalize the call for ECC director, Mary Ellen Lawson and extend a provisional call to Amy Gernetzke to teach Pre-K, Kindergarten and math. The meeting was adjourned subject to recall. ‍ ‍

MONDAY NIGHT WORSHIP ‍ ‍

With St. Paul’s being served by a vacancy pastor as we begin the calling process, there will no longer be a Monday evening worship service for the time being. The last Monday evening worship will be July 13. ‍ ‍

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY‍ ‍

Women’s Bible Study will be meeting on Wednesday evenings, starting next Wednesday, June 24. The topics will be a several short 2-4 week studies. All ladies are warmly invited to attend. The time is 6:30pm for fellowship with study beginning at 7:00pm and the place is the basement at the Wonewoc Campus.‍ ‍

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL‍ ‍

Mark your calendars. Vacation Bible School is being held July 20—24 at the Wonewoc Campus. The theme this year is Jungle Journey and the time will be from 6—7:30pm. This is for pre-school age though grade 6. ‍ ‍

CHANGE FOR LIFE‍ ‍

Today was the deadline to bring in your Change for Life baby bottles, however you can still drop bottles at the church office this week if you wish. Change for Life Program supports the ministry of New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers, a WELS based ministry that helps single mothers pave the way to self-sufficiency in a Christ-centered home.‍ ‍

WELS NIGHT AT THE BREWERS‍ ‍

The 2026 WELS Night at the Brewers is August 7. Come out to American Family Field to watch your Milwaukee Brewers take on the Twins! If you are interested in attending, there is a sign-up sheet in back. There will be a bus for anyone that wants to go. (The bus is paid for.) It will pick up riders in Kendall at Noon, then swing through Hillsboro and then Wonewoc. The bus will stop in Madison to visit the Henry Vilas Zoo and then head on to The American Family Stadium in Milwaukee for a 6:40pm game and plan to head home at 10:00pm. Tickets are $25 each and sign up and payment is due by July 5. All children must have an adult accompany them. We are hoping for 50 people that want to attend. Ask your friends and family!
