VOTER’S MEETING—MARCH 22
There will be a voter’s meeting on Sunday March 22, right after the 10:30am worship service at the Wonewoc Campus. The last meeting was adjourned subject to recall. Topics for discussion on the agenda are the possibility of a Pre-K and other school related business.
LENT WORSHIP
The theme for our Lenten worship this year is "It Is Finished: The Holy Week Prophecies of Zechariah." As in years past, area pastors will preach on a rotational schedule. Worship will be at the Wonewoc Campus for the next 2 weeks. Service times are 4:00pm and 6:30pm with a meal and fellowship in between.
WOMENS’ FRIDAY BIBLE STUDY
The ladies Bible study has begun again with fellowship at 9 and study beginning at 9:30. This session’s study will be on Philippians, “Living in the Joy of Christ” - Seeking God’s direction through His Word to look to Christ in every circumstance.
EASTER FLOWERS
If you wish to purchase flowers, and would like a memorial in the bulletin, please let Jan Fick know by March 29. If you ordered from Blossoms and Bouquets, we have the information already.
EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN-UP
Ladies Aid is looking for contributions of food for the Easter breakfast. Easter Breakfast will take place at the Hillsboro Campus this year right after the Easter Dawn worship service. If you would like to help, there is a sign-up sheet in back. Thank you in advance.
CHURCH STEEPLE RESTORATION PROJECT
While a final firm quote is pending on the Wonewoc steeple restoration, costs are still estimated at around $111,000 dollars. We will continue to provide you with updates as they become available. We trust that the Lord will provide what we need for this task according to his perfect plans. If anyone is interested in giving a gift to support this project, you can either place it in the offering plate with a designation for the steeple or bring it to the church office.
