HOLY BAPTISM
This Sunday, we rejoice as Idalia Westedt, infant daughter of Will and Tessa Westedt, is made a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism. May God richly bless this family with love, health, and above all a strong faith in Jesus our Savior.
PASTOR LIMPERT CALL RETURNED
Pastor Limpert has returned the divine call extended through Christ Lutheran Church in North St. Paul and Hugo, MN, and will continue to serve our congregation. He is thankful for the words of encouragement and insights that were shared with him while deliberating. We pray for God’s continued blessings on the ministry we carry out together.
THANK YOU –TRACTOR PULL
A huge shout-out and thank you to everyone, both adults and students who worked so hard at this year’s charity tractor pull in Hillsboro this weekend, giving of their time for set up, concessions help and singing the national anthem on Saturday. This couldn’t be accomplished with our members’ willingness to help. Proceeds from this event will be used for needs at our Christian day school.
QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
The most recent quarterly meeting was held on August 3. A summary of highlights is listed below; full minutes from the meeting will be made available soon.

Members released from congregation: Steven Rasch; Timothy Fulton; Becky Gilbertson; Tony Ott; Tyler Ott; Mindy Phephles; Sara Weber-Mol.
We are looking to hold another pre-call meeting with Pastor Mike Jensen, our district president, before extending another call for associate pastor in order to reassess what qualifications we are seeking in candidates. The intention is for this congregational meeting to be held in early September.
The updated 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Budget was approved.
Discussion was held about potential changes to the worship service schedule. More details about proposed changes will be presented to the congregation in the coming weeks for input prior to the next quarterly congregational meeting.
The next quarterly congregational meeting is scheduled for November 2.
