PASTOR CALL MEETING

Our next call meeting for an associate pastor will be July 8, 6:00pm at the Wonewoc Campus. All members are encouraged to attend as we consider candidates for our next pastor.

HELP NEEDED MOVING ON JUNE 28

Help is needed moving our new Kindergarten teacher, Miss Beth Eckart on June 28.  She is moving to Hillsboro from the Fox Cities area and will need help loading and unloading. School parents or anyone else, if you can assist on that day, contact Matt Wurster, or Sam Mobley for more information. 

LOOKING FOR ALTAR GUILD HELPERS

Our Altar Guild is getting much smaller as some of the older members are no longer able to serve or have gone home to heaven.  New members would definitely be welcomed.  It is not a huge commitment of time, and you get training and mentoring on the duties.  Please call Julie Smallwood at 608-393-3717 if you would be willing to serve in this way. 

MUSIC IN THE PARK—JULY 19

Music in the Park planning is underway, and Panther Parents are looking for some extra help with planning this July 19th event.  This year proceeds will help benefit the new ECC and senior center in Hillsboro. HELP NEEDED FOR THE HILLSBORO CHARITY TRACTOR PULL

The Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull is Friday, August 8 and Saturday August 9 at the Hillsboro Fairgrounds.  Our church will be selling pizzas and ice cream Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening. Set up and tear down will be taken care of, but WE NEED VOLUNTEERS for shifts to help in the food stands and selling concessions in the grandstand. There is a sign-up sheet in back or go to our church website to sign up.

Dear St. Paul Members and School Families,

Thank you for your continual support and encouragement in many different ways over the past year, and your support and encouragement as I finish my education.  I have grown in many ways and am glad of the work I was called to do here.

I am reminded of Paul’s words to his brothers and sisters in Philippi: “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus… And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. (1:3-6, 9-11)

I wish you all God’s richest blessings as you stay in and share that Word through your continued ministry in Hillsboro and Wonewoc.
