CONGREGATIONAL MEETING NOVEMBER 30

There will be a congregational meeting today, November 30, right after the 10:30 worship service in Wonewoc. The purpose of this meeting to nominate and elect to fill the still vacant position(s) on the Trustees and Cemetery Committee. 

CHRISTMAS DECORATING

Wonewoc church Christmas decorating will take place on Friday evening, December 5 beginning at 4:00pm. We will put up the trees and do the interior decorations. (We would be appreciative of a few people lending a hand to get the trees out today after the voters’ meeting). Hillsboro church decorating will be right after Bible class on December 7.

ADVENT BY CANDLELIGHT

Advent by Candlelight is scheduled for next Sunday, December 7, in the Wonewoc Campus church basement. Advent by Candlelight is a beautiful, quiet, reflective event just for women to focus their hearts on the birth of the Savior who brings us salvation and peace before the busy Christmas season. There will be a luncheon and program beginning at 12:00pm. If you still would like to come and haven’t signed up, call the office at 608-464-3212 and let us know.

ADVENT WORSHIP

We will be holding a special midweek Advent service on Wednesday, December 10. Join us for time in God's Word as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of our Savior's birth. Services times are 4:00pm Wonewoc Campus, 6:30pm Hillsboro Campus.

POINSETTIAS

If anyone is interested in having a poinsettia on the altar in memory of a loved one for Christmas, please let Jan Fick know by December 20 so that your information can go in the bulletin. 

CHILDRENS’ CHRISTMAS TREAT BAGS

Each year we provide a Christmas treat bag to all children attending Christmas services. This year it will be for the children's service on December 21 and for those attending Christmas Eve or Christmas Day services   If you would like to help provide treats for these bags, you can leave a gift in the free-will offering box in the church entry or just place an envelope in the offering basket marked “treat bags”. Thank you.
