DIVINE CALLS
On Sunday, March 2, the congregation extended a call to Miss Vicki Humann to teach Kindergarten. Miss Humann is currently serving at St. John’s in Sparta. The congregation also extended a call to Pastor Craig Engel to serve as associate pastor. Pastor Engel is currently serving at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN.
Please keep Pastor Engel and Miss Humann in your prayers as they deliberate where the Lord would have them serve. Call status and contact information for called workers can be found at stpaulhw.com/calls.
DIVINE CALLS RETURNED
Mr. Tom Stob and Mrs. Michelle Stob have returned the calls extended to serve as 5th & 6th and 1st & 2nd grade teachers. We thank them for their time in deliberation and pray for God’s continued blessings on their ministries. The next teacher call meeting will be April 6, following the 10:30 service at the Wonewoc Campus.
MID WEEK LENT WORSHIP
Mid-week worship for Lent will be at the Hillsboro campus this week and for the remainder of Lent with service times at 4:00pm and 6:30pm. There will be a supper in between the services.
EASTER LILY ORDERS
Information regarding Easter flowers from Blossoms and Bouquets in Wonewoc. are on the table in back. Blossoms and Bouquets offers a discount if you order before April 4. You can return order forms in the offering plate, and we will get them to Blossoms, or call Bridget at 608-464-3240 to order directly.
EASTER INVITATION POSTCARDS
In your bulletins today are some postcard invitations for worship on Easter Sunday. Please use then to invite a neighbor, friend, or family member to come share in the joy of worshipping the risen Savior. If you more than one card, there are more on the back table.
ECM NAME SELECTION
Thank you to everyone who submitted names for the ECM. A committee has narrowed down the options to 4 possibilities and we are now asking for members to vote on which name they like best. There is an online poll on our church website. There will also be slips of paper with the name options at both locations that can be used to vote and placed in the green box. Please vote only once per person. Voting ends after the 10:30 service on Sunday, March 30.
